Storyboard + Character Design
Designed unique characters for the brand. Created a cohesive storyboard outline. Animated the characters and used Adobe Premiere Pro to finalize the edits. A number of techniques were used in this project. There are various options when it comes to animation and branding and we selected a 3D style that pairs well with the brand. A logo was then created from the characters and animated in the opening of this cartoon.

Meet our Rice Friends or Bap Chingu (팝 친구) in Korean are our Foodie Friend characters. Jollof is a Nigerian Rice Friend with a plantain dress and hair decoration, and boiled egg which is typically served with jollof rice. Kimbap is a Korean Rice Friend dressed in seaweed, accessorizing with stylish chopsticks.

Princess Ellie & the Feathered Prince
As the Creative Director, I created the script, recorded over 20 voices as the voice-over artist, created the characters, animated the scenes, and finally put everything together as the final video editor. This cartoon has been enjoyed across the globe in multiple languages.
Princess Ellie and the Feathered Prince won a Gold film festival award for animation.
Princess Ellie and the Feathered Prince is about a curious bee that is bullied because he has feathers instead of regular bee wings. Princess Ellie and the Feathered Prince go on an Adventure Quest filled with riddles, hidden butterflies, and songs. They find a way to help save their honeycomb by learning how to plant a wildflower and by using the shadow from the Feathered Prince’s wings to help germinate the seeds. The Feathered Prince realizes that his feathered wings are a gift in disguise and the bees learn how to fly again.
The five main characters are Princess Ellie, The Feathered Prince, Queen Wildflower, The Flower Farmer, and the Secret Butterfly. Check out our treatment and Pitch Deck on the links below.

As the channel manager of the DJ Princess Ellie YouTube Channel we have found success with animated videos. I am the animator, character designer, music producer, desicrption and title SEO copy editor, cover deisgner, and artist.
DJ Princess Ellie’s channel is an official Artists Channel. This is a unique chnanel type in that it is Made for Kids. To find success more creativity is required with the limitations of Kids Channels not allowing comments, videos to be added to playlists, no community posts. Through all of this, the channel is still monetized and engaging worldwide audiences.
35 languages including Sign Language are featured on this channel. This enables the audience to be larger because the channel is optimized for worldwide growth. There are not only Closed captining in multiple languages, but we also are able to create alternate titles and description for every language which increases our reach.
Utlizing analytical tools, the Title and description keywords are strategically selected to ensure the right audiences can easily access our videos.
